As in every case, you cannot please everybody, and everybody has their own opinion on everything ! So let us just raise it first that the gun is a TOOL. Much compared to a fire extinguisher…better to have one and not need it than to need one and not have it. Guns are not alive and are an inanimate object, somebody has to activate it, it cannot move or act on its own. The gun becomes a tool for good or evil depending on who holds it. If a felon uses it to rob or kill, then it is used for evil. If a good cop sees the felon and stops him from continuing his rampage, then the gun was used for good. Simple common sense but a lot of people misses the point.

One argument they stress is that children often get access to the gun and shoot their playmates or themselves. This is a failure of the parent to secure the gun properly (ex. Gun safe ) or failure to orient the children on safe gun handling.

While on the topic of accidents, there is one item in most houses that is more dangerous and has killed more people than the world wars combined and continues to kill hundreds everyday worldwide… YOUR CAR !!!

Haven’t you notice ? When the car dealerships and motorcycle dealerships are booming another line of business booms with it…FUNERAL PARLORS !!!

Business tip: Build your Funeral parlor  as close as possible to a car /motorcycle dealership and give every new buyer a card for 20-30% discount for first-time customers/victims.

Since cars are more dangerous, let us BAN CARS !!! first  then BAN MOTORCYCLES !!! second, BAN THE LOTTERY !!! third. Never  ever BAN GUNS !!!

For your information, the gun is not the preferred or most commonly used weapon by felons, it is THE KNIFE !!!  Knives are cheap, easy to conceal, easy to dispose of, does not jam, real silent. I’d rather die to gunshots than succumb to knife stabs, real painful slow death. Guns are more humane, only 1 out of 4 die to gunshot wounds. Most knife wounds bleed to death.

Knives have been used since the dawn of man to kill each other and to kill animals for food. Since it’s been around for so long, let’s BAN KNIVES !!! YEAH !!! ( Chef’s and cooks would probably kill you with their bare hands once this is approved. )
