After-Meal

Books to Buy

Of course, my appetite for books will not end. Therefore, I already have a list of my target books. I prefer not to make the list longer so that I can focus on the the books that I need to prioritize. Unfortunately, sometimes, I get tempted to buy books that are of a different series or a different genre ... making it hard for me to complete a series I already started. :)

Here's the list! ............................................................................................................................................

Series

Title: Shatterproof
Author: Roland Smith

So this is is the fourth book in the series 39 clues 2: Cahills vs Vespers. Usually, the release of each book in this series is every three months. I don't know why that's not the case here. I've been collecting this series since I was in my second year high school. So that's about 5 years now. 500 bucks is worth it for this series.. seriously! It can take you to different countries... 1 or 2 countries per book. Moreover, the characters are adorable! Some ... you really want to slap in the face or hit with a hammer. Can't wait to have this one!

Title: Fallen In Love
Author: Lauren Kate

This book was a surprise to the readers of Fallen series. Surely some, (I'm one of them) weren't expecting a special book. This book is in between book 3 and 4 of the said series. I'm not really sure about the plot yet but I heard that this was romance stories of the characters in Fallen. Well, even though this is just a special.. I still want to have a copy!! Who knows? It might be better than the first 3 books.

Title: Linger & Forever
Author: Maggie Stiefvater

Linger and Forever, this are books 2 and 3 of the series Wolves of Mercy Falls. I had a copy of the first book  Shiver. It was okay..  but it didn't leave an impact. Yes, it had a unique way of telling the story by using two different point of views but I guess the slow pace annoyed me. So, even though I've read that for more than a year  .. I can't bring myself to buy the other two yet. I skipped buying them and bought other book genres instead. My friends told me that it got better so I still listed them. Let's see how it goes.

Title: Revelations
Author: Melissa de la Cruz

After Blue Bloods and Masquerade came Revelations! The Blue Bloods series have a total of 9 books - 7 in sequence and 2 companion books. Some of my former classmates are fans of this series and that's how I cam to know them. It's a vampire story but different from the usual plot... from the first book you can alreay sense that there's a unique twist. Sadly, since this first books of the series has been published way back 2007 so it's a bit hard for me to look for them. The second novel: Masquerade is with my friend and I have not read so I decided to postpone acquiring Revelations. :) I'll get my hands on it in the near future... hopefully.

Title: Divergent
Author: Veronica Roth

Divergent is the first book in the series. I happen to know the book because of goodreads.com. It won an award but I can't remember what exactly. I also heard that fans of the Hunger Games will love the series. I've been dying to get a copy of this but I'm trying to complete the other series first. I'm also waiting for the box set so that I can avail this at a lower price. Oh! I forgot to tell you guys.. this has a  dystopian genre.

Non-Series

Title: Enthralled:Paranormal Diversions

Author: Melissa Marr and Kelley Armstrong

This is the book that caught my attention when I visited a bookstore. It's design had this delicate touch of horror. I felt that I should buy it especially when I saw that one of the authors is Kelley Armstrong, the author of The Darkest Powers series. I regret that I didn't buy this book when I had the chance. I'll definitely buy this next time I see it.
